Melissa Barrett, Director - Technical
"I am a mother with two children and my daughter had an ongoing problem with nits and head lice. I had tried numerous products and methods, and spent countless hours treating and combing with little success. Any successes I did have were short lived as the hair would become reinfested when my daughter returned to school.
It was through sheer frustration and my background in research and health care that I began my quest to find a natural, healthy and long term solution to eradicate head lice from my children's hair....Hit Nitz 4 6 is the result. I hope you like it as much as my daughter and I do.
When I'm not obsessing about nits, I'm juggling work as a Nurse Practitioner, studying diabetes or chauffeuring my kids around! I also love the beach, sailing and hanging out with my menagerie of pets.

"I am also a mother of two young children and was working as a Real Estate agent when Melissa approached me to help develop and market the head lice treatment she was working on. We knew there were plenty of other frustrated parents out there, we just needed to get our products right and then 'get the word out' about them.
We were eager to create something far superior to any other products that were currently available. Our aim was to create products that 1: worked, 2: were as natural and safe to use as possible and the ultimate 3: would stop the nits coming back...Bingo! We are so happy and proud of our achievements.
As well as being passionate about our products, I love to play and coach netball and paint."

"I first began working with Hit Nitz 4 6 when Melissa and
Michelle were establishing the company and sought legal advice from
me. At the time my children were very young and I hadn't yet
entered the realm of nits. A few years on, and with more knowledge
on my side, I am a true fan of Hit Nitz 4 6, so much so that in
early 2011 I invested in the business and became Melissa and
Michelle's business partner.
Having worked as a lawyer for 15 years, I'm now loving being
involved in the Hit Nitz 4 6 business. I am passionate about using
natural products and giving my children as healthy a lifestyle as
possible, so my philosophy aligns perfectly with that of Hit Nitz 4
6 and its natural approach to dealing with head lice . I believe
the Hit Nitz 4 6 products that Melissa and Michelle have created
are fantastic. The more I learn about head lice, our products and
the other products on the market, the more I believe in Hit Nitz 4
6. Who could argue against chemical free products that work?
When I'm not doing all things nits, I love to play hockey, cook
for family and friends, read, watch movies and head to the beach
with the family and the dog. I'm also a diehard Fremantle Dockers
fan - which must make me an eternal optimist!"
